Dr. Mark A. Stein
ADHD Specialist
ADHD is not that complicated. Personalized treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation of symptoms, impairments, strengths, associated problems, and mimic conditions or settings. We specialize in ADHD in all ages.

About Me
I am a clinical psychologist and Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. I have developed specialized, multidisciplinary clinics for children, adolescents, and adults in Chicago, Washington DC, and Seattle. There is a critical need for diagnostic and treatment planning for all ages, but especially for adults who suspect they have ADHD.

Billing and Insurance
I practice as an “out of network” provider which means that I do not accept health insurance plans. Patient is billed directly and a superbill is generated to facilitate claim submission for patients who choose to proceed with insurance reimbursement for the out of network behavioral health payments. You may need to contact your insurance carrier to determine coverage criteria as coverage and out-of-pocket costs vary. I am unfortunately unable to see patients whose insurance plan is Medicare and its subsidiaries at present time.
If you contact your insurance carrier, you may wish to inquire about the amount of your deductible and — once the deductible is met — what percentage of the following visit codes is reimbursed:
1. Diagnostic assessment (CPT code 90792 or 99205 with modifier 95)
2. Medication or treatment monitoring follow up visit (CPT code 99213 or 99214 with or without modifier 95)
3. Psychotherapy (CPT codes 90834 or 90836 with or without modifier 95)
